Lack of synchronization between the audio and the subtitle can be badgering.
Sync in VLC:
If you are using VLC, there is a way to sync the subtitle to the audio. There are two cases here:
1. SUBTITLE IS SLOWER THAN THE AUDIO
a.] Keep pressing H when you hear a dialogue.
Suppose now Joey says "I can't believe it" in this frame, but the subtitle doesn't appear. Press H the moment he starts his dialogue.
b.] Stop when that dialogue appears in the subtitle after a few seconds.
c.] Finally,your video is synched
2. SUBTITLE IS FASTER THAN THE AUDIO
Keep pressing G until the subtitle syncs.
Sync in Media Player Classic:
Open the video in MPC (Media player classic) and pause the movie at a point, Then Click on View->subresync.
Then you will see a window like below
At a given point click on the line of subtitle which is correct for the scene , Right click on that and select current.
The Subtitle will be automatically updated to that point.
You can save the modified subtitle by File->Save subtitle.
